NEW ROG Horus GK2000 announced

Ormai è divenuto comune che produttori hardware si affaccino anche nel mondo delle periferiche gaming ed ASUS non è da meno, lo ha già fatto in passato, ricordiamo una delle sue ultime serie di periferiche, ovvero la  STRIX.

Oggi Asus presenta una nuova tastiera meccanica, la ROG Horus GK2000, un prodotto che si presenta con features di altissimo livello ed un design distintivo ed accattivante con parti in alluminio con finitura pregiata tagliato al CNC. 

La testiera è equipaggiata con gli switch CherryMX e con un'unità di controllo interna micro-programmabile (MCU) a 32bit e 4MB di memoria on board, il tutto corredato da un software di personalizzazione potente ed intuitivo che permetterà all'utente di customizzare praticamente ogni aspetto della tastiera, dall'illuminazione alle macro (fin a ben 80 macro diverse per mouse, PC e funzioni media) e salvare questi settaggi in 10 diversi profili che l'utente potrà tranquillamente spostare dal PC alla memoria interna della tastiera, "drag and drop", inoltre è provvista di porte USB, jacks audio, poggia polsi removibile e supporto removibile per i dispositivi mobile, come smartphone o phablet.

La tastiera vi arriverà corredata di una borsa per il trasporto in neopreme, utile in caso partecipiate a qualche LAN party o semplicemente per tenerla al sicuro.

Non abbiamo ancora notizie sul prezzo ma siamo di fronte ad un prodotto di facia alta sia per features che per qualità dei materiali, ci aspettiamo quindi una balla somma.

Nowadays is not uncommon for hardware manufacturers to test the gaming peripherals market, and ASUS is doing it too, they already tried in the past, one of their last experiment was in fact the STRIX line.

Today ASUS announced its new mechanical keyboard, the ROG Horus GK2000, a product with high end features and an endearing and distinctive design, with aluminum components with fine finishes cut with CNC. 

The keyboard is equipped with the Cherry MX switches and with an internal micro-programmable control unit (MCU) at 32bit and 4MB of on board memory, everything accompanied by a powerful and intuitive customization software, that will let the user personalize every aspect of the keyboard, from the lighting to the macros (up to 80 macros for the mouse, PC and media functions) and save this settings in 10 different profile that the user can easily transfer “drag and drop” from the PCs to the internal memory of the keyboard, , moreover it’s provided with USB ports, audio jacks, removable wrist-rest and a removable holder for mobile devices, as smartphones and phablets.

The keyboard will be delivered with a carrying case in neoprene, useful in case you need to move it for a LAN party or simply to keep it safe.

We still have no news about the price, but we are facing an high end product both for featuer and the quality of the material, we expect then a pretty high price.
